Pink Ribbon Ride 2016

This is a Geelong Ulysses Club and Peter Stevens Motorcycles fundraising event for the Andrew Love Cancer Centre. Every cent made goes to the cause and there are zero costs taken out of the funds raised. Mrs T and I were corner marking.

At age 84 yrs, Rob Ashmore (below) was probably the oldest participant! Well done Rob.

  1. Great photos Jules!

The Auckland ride is next Sunday and hundreds of riders take part. IAM and NZ Police riders act as marshals on the ride. Great cause to be involved with, isn’t it?

    • It is Geoff. I hope that you have good weather – we dodged a bullet on that one with a window of decent weather with gales and rain before and afterwards! Because this Pink Ribbon Ride is local we get to hear what piece of equipment etc the Andrew Love Cancer Centre purchase with the money, it’s used in the treatment of both men and women’s cancers and not a cent gets gobbled up in’administrative’ costs or equipment hire. One of the local FM radio stations asked to use a couple of my pics on their website, which was nice. Click HERE
